Wellington 3-5 December 2020

Nau mai hāere mai. We invite you to join us in New Zealand in 2020 to celebrate the return of NonfictioNOW to the Asia Pacific region. We hope to offer participants and audiences an engagement with a range of distinct worldviews that can only be found on these shores, acknowledging first of all the Indigenous Māori mana whenua (traditional owners) of Aotearoa, our Pasifika and Pākehā whanau (family) and our newer settler populations. And we look forward to engaging with writers and nonfiction writing from all over the globe.

Join us at our magnificent conference venue, the harbour-side Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. Keep your eye on this website for developments and updates, or sign up for our mailing list. The Call for Papers will be made early 2020. We hope you’ll join us.

Ingrid Horrocks and Tina Makereti, on behalf of the NonfictioNOW 2020 Conference Steering Committee
